This garden had an extremely low budget. The garden after the extension was completed was left with subsoil, the usual builders rubble stones and rocks. The grass was unable to grow. The layout of the garden was already built the steps and path. A family of four with two young children, we provided a play area. The shed a storage area for bicycles will eventually be screened by hedging. The garden walls were very low and painted concrete block. We plastered the walls, raised the height with timber railing to provide the much needed privacy. A very strong element of this small garden was the borrowed landscape, a large estate house with large mature trees gave this garden an extra element. Glazing at the rear of the house very much links garden to home.
